Last year, Iasus Concepts
brought you the Noise Terminator GP, a revolutionary new concept
in communications for motorcyclists. In response to feedback
from track riders and racers, we introduce the Noise Terminator
GPX.
The NT GPX is an improvement
upon the older VOX version of the NT GP. The NT GPX model
includes:
- Noise Terminator VOX throat
mic
- X Sound headphones (Detachable
twin padded helmet speakers)
- Detachable in-glove PTT
- Finger sleeve to hold the in-glove
PTT button in place on the rider's finger
With the in-glove PTT,
the NT GPX allows the rider to easily access the PTT button
while in full gear. The rider is no longer distracted, while
hunting for the PTT button on the handle bar, allowing him
to concentrate on maintaining his line and speed.
The modular set up of the
NT GPX gives the user the option of transmitting either VOX
mode or PTT mode. Simply remove the in-glove PTT to switch
the communications mode back to VOX.
The NT GPX is available for
Motorola Talkabouts, Cobra/Icoms, Midlands and other lowered
powered FRS/GMRS radios that offer the VOX function.

IASUS Concepts realizes
that under prolonged use, earbud earphones might be uncomfortable
for some riders since they may be pushed against the ears
by the helmet.
Therefore, with the improved
Noise Terminator GP and GPX, IASUS has replaced the earbud
earphone with X-Sound twin padded fidelity helmet speakers.
X-Sound speakers fit comfortably into the area between the
helmet and the ear.
In order to provide the greatest
flexibility to motorcyclists, we have designed two versions
of the NT GP.
(New) GPX version
- An improvement upon the older VOX version, the GPX gives
the user the option of transmitting either VOX mode or PTT
mode. Simply attach the removable in-glove finger PTT to
the NT GP, place the PTT button inside the glove or onto
the handle bar for transmission under
PTT mode. Conversely, remove the in-glove finger PTT for
a true handsfree communications experience. The NT GPX is
available for Motorola Talkabouts, Cobra/Icoms, Midlands
and other lowered powered FRS/GMRS radios that offer the
VOX function.
