Chatterbox Adapter

IASUS Concepts is currently developing an adapter that connects the Noise Terminator to the Chatterbox, FRS/GRMS system. The adaptor is designed to only bypass the Chatterbox's existing microphone function with the Noise Terminator. The Chatterbox's in-helmet earpieces will not be affected. There will be no need to change the existing installations of your Chatterbox system.

While an effective means of communications for motorcycle riders, the Chatterbox still suffers from excessive background noise because of the design of its microphone. Its microphone uses traditional acoustic induction from sound waves in the air, meaning the sound of the engine will be picked up along with the speaker's voice. The Noise Terminator, on the other hand, picks up the voice signals from the vibrations in the users' necks, rather than from the air. The result is clear communication direct from the throat to the microphone without the utilization of air as a medium of conduction

By using the Noise Terminator in conjunction with the Chatterbox, motorcycle riders will still be able to enjoy conversation with 'zero background noise' with the other amenities that the Chatterbox offers.
